Friends asked what type of water purifier we have because they liked the taste of the water. They were surprised for they have a reverse osmosis system. Everpure EV9270-71 H-300  On: 2010-04-25Ive been using this product for 15 years. Its been satisfactory all these years. However, Ive found out the last one i purchased from Amazon has a minor leak. I believe its been leaking since I installed it in Feb. 2010 and did not realize until I open the under sink door last week. Happy with new Everpure Filter, especially the price. On: 2010-04-07I would like to make a comment about prior reviews. Please heed the replacement advice from the manufacturer, ONE YEAR. Even if the filter still functions after a year, you could be harboring bacteria. Thanks. EVEPURE FILTER H-300  On: 2010-03-29The Everpure system is one of the best filtration system out in the market. The fact that I can get this delivered to my house and at a relatively inexpensive price is great. This filter is expected to last my family household a year or two based on usage. I would recommend this system to anyone. Ive used it for over 15 years and it is great to filter all impurities in drinking water. At the time, based on my research it was one of the top/highly rated systems in marketplace, now I can see why. Same as local plumbing shop On: 2009-12-03Replacement cartridge is the same as Ive been purchasing from my local plumbing shop for $40 less. Arrived quickly and works great! On: 2009-10-25The Everpure Replacement Cartridge arrived very quickly and was exactly as promised at a great price. Good replacement cartridge On: 2009-10-21The Everpure replacement cartridge works quite well. It just takes a few tries to install. The critical point is seating the cartridge so that the locking mechanism on the cartridge holder is engaged. Otherwise water will leak. For those like me who are all thumbs, just try a few times until you get it. Great customer service On: 2009-09-08I installed this replacement filter when it arrived (~5 days), I was disappointed with the flow rate, it was about a quarter of the old one! When I called EverPure (800)323-7873 I was expecting a salesperson to send me another one in about two weeks. Instead I was switched to a live technician that walked me through a simple fix and improved the flow to the best it has ever been. Great customer service! Still tastes great! On: 2009-04-09Our Everpure filter system continues to work well for us and the replacement cartridges are easy to install. I am also happy with how quickly I received the filter. Filters Fast On: 2009-04-08I ordered a filter and got it fast. Item was as described and easy to install :-) Great tasting water, easy to use, BUT you may need to replace quickly  On: 2009-03-30Great tasting water, dead simple to install and maintain, but it can get clogged very easily such that water flow slows to a very low rate ie. 15 mins/gal! After two weeks the filter slowed to a nearly unusable flow rate. I found out that this is because it has a small micron filter and any sediment that comes into the filter will begin to clog it. So, if they dig up a pipe around you and some dirt flows in your filter, or if you have a bit heavy sediment the flow will be greatly reduced to the point of being useless. So far it seems you need to also install a prefilter to prevent this. pure water On: 2009-02-05Good, long-lasting water filter. Were on well water w/ lots of minerals. While the filters are pricey, Amazon sells them for about the best price around. The filter comes with a one year battery powered alarm, however this may not be the best indicator since the longevity of the filter depends on the rate you use your water not the number of months that pass. It would be nice if Everpure had a gallon meter on the dispenser - THAT would be accurate! Overall excellent product. On: 2008-10-06IF you need a filter for your water dispenser, get it here ... i did a lot of cost comparisons and this was the most cost effective. if you need this particular one, theres only one you can use and i found that the prices are all over the place. not only did i get free shipping - and a REMINDER service for when to replace it (no additional charge), i saved OVER $50 by buying this via amazon.com vs. the local retailer in my area ... this was a no brainer! thank you! Good-tasting water On: 2008-09-19I bought the replacement cartridge for the Everpure H-300. Not terribly romantic or exciting. Its the normal replacement. It works. LA water tastes better filtered through it. What I really liked was a significant monetary savings from buying it locally. I swear the water tastes even sweeter than it did in the prior more expensive cartridge. Heres a toast to Amazon pricing. Great tasting water. On: 2008-09-15We just bought a house that had the Everpure water system hooked up to the Sub-Zero refrigerator to filter the drinking water and ice dispenser. We usually drink bottled water, and have it delivered once a month. The water from the refrigerator did not taste as good. Then I noticed that the previous owner had marked the installation date on the Everpure cartridge. It was over two years old. So we ordered a replacement cartridge to give it a try. Because it is attached to the refrigerator instead of the sink faucet, we had to run it for about 3 times longer than the instructions stated to get the water right. Then we did a blind taste test at my house vs. the bottled water (no joke). It ended up in a draw. The Everpure made the water taste much better...every bit as good as our bottled water. We decided to keep our bottled water, though, because the refrigerator dispenser is not as convenient for the kids. This is a great product and I would highly recommend it. Filters for a whole company On: 2008-09-03I bought this filter for the company I work for... about 30 employees use the dishwasher, sink and water dispenser. We filter through one main source using this filter. Weve been using the same product for years and it works very well. Cant say that I taste a difference in water but it does put everyones minds at ease, living in L.A. and deathly fearing the groundwater here. I recently ordered a replacement filter cartridge. I found that my model was discontinued, but that the H-300 would fit. When I tried to remove the old cartridge, it was stuck. I called Everpure for some tips, and, instead of selling me a new unit, they sent me one free of charge! It installed easily and works great. It installs easily into its housing that connects to a water dispenser spout at the kitchen sink. We drink a lot of water and the taste is better than anything out of a bottle. Less expensive, too! Mine was shipped immediately, arrived promptly and works great. Filter works well, but company has work to do On: 2007-08-11The Good: The water filter works well. The water tastes great and is an economical and eco-friendly alternative from bottle water. The Bad: Although I received a competitive price for this replacement filter on my Everpure H300 system at Amazon, I needed two plumbers and practically three weeks of badgering to Everpure to get a new head for my filtration unit that was not accepting the replacement filter. The older (3-4 years+) heads on the Everpure units are poorly engineered. The newer heads are significantly better. The Ugly: Everpure does not have a protocol or any policy to recycle their used filters. I called the companys headquarters and was told to throw the used filter in the garbage. Everpure provides a healthly alternative to tap water for the home and office. Thats great. But they are far from being an environmentally sustainable company. Their filters have been absorbing heavy metals, toxins and whatever else may be in the tap water over a long period of time. It is unacceptable to have a policy by default that their used filters be thrown into the waste stream. I will be following up with Everpures management on this issue... The BEST filter On: 2007-07-28Wow, its amazing how changing a water filter can improve the waters taste. Since buying my home(4 years ago), I noticed nobody was drinking the filtered water. Well, I know why. So i ordered an Everpure replacement filter and now we drink the filtered water and save $$$ on bottled water. Very easy to remove and replace old/new filter. Highly recommended!!! Good product On: 2007-06-21Ive been using this system of water filtration for years. I love it. Ill never buy bottled water or those filtration systems that sit in a pitcher in your fridge. The water tastes clean and fresh - like you always expect it to taste. My coffee maker does not develop deposits from hard water anymore. We use this filtered water for everything now. Short of showering! A note to the customer service... It has been good. The cartridges are cheaper here than anywhere Ive found locally and I recently got a cartridge that isnt working as well as the others have. Customer Service has responded quickly and is sending me a replacement. Thats all I could ask for!
