I couldnt survive without a water filter! PUR filters  On: 2010-03-19OK price for 2-pack; I noticed that many others have had problems with the faucet mount developing cracks. We aim to change filter before the "RED" zone is complete. Heres a trick.. On: 2010-03-05Heres a trick that they probably dont want you to know about.. When your filter stops working, it isnt because the filter itself stopped working. Its because the mechanism inside the filter housing has clicked all the way over and stopped the water flow. If you think your water still tastes good and it probably did right before it stopped flowing on you.. Simply remove the filter like you were going to install a new one.. and the mechanism in the housing resets, then reinstall the filter. Now you can extend the filter until you wish to replace it. I would recommend replacing it eventually though. Highly recommend this product On: 2010-02-01These PUR replacement filters worked as advertised, and one month later, Im still using the first of the two water filters. The water filter is saving my family money because were buying 1/4 of the bottled water we did before, and refilling the empty bottles at least two times (experts dont recommend the long-term reuse of plastic water bottles) and saving money on redemption fees. I highly recommend this product. Excellent value On: 2010-01-30This is an excellent value, as a single pack is only a few dollars less in discount retailers such as Target. no problems! On: 2009-11-08Ive used the Stage 3 filter, but decided to save some money on another faucet and switched to the Stage 2 filter. There might be a difference in how clean the water is, but taste wise I cant tell. This item shipped quickly, safely, and works as it should. I Made the Switch On: 2009-10-26I made the switch from bottled water to filtered faucet water. I have no real complaints. Water from the filter tastes better than faucet water, but not as good as bottled water, which is acceptable to me. My wife still uses bottled, but the kids and I use the filtered. I dont know if I am saving money overall using the filtered over the bottled, because now I use the filtered water for things like making coffee, cooking, kids drinking water, etc., whereas I previously used plain faucet water for all of those uses. Saves me from lugging in all those gallons of water, though. Overall, Im glad I made the switch. TRY PUR! On: 2009-10-15the PUR filters are great for filtering out impurities, and actually help reduce some of the odors that otherwise would keep me from using tap water. I even notice a difference even when making coffee or tea. Replacement filters are reasonable in price. Filter pack for Pur On: 2009-08-02These arrived in the box just like I ordered and in plenty of time specified so everything went perfect. Slow flow but does the job  On: 2009-06-18Its fine for the price, but the flow of filtered water is very slow. I dont think its the pressure from my tap because without the filter running the water flows fast. Regardless, the slow flow beats drinking horrible tasting northern Virginia water. Can't Complain On: 2009-04-12These 2 stages are great. I used to smell metal and chlorine but now NOTHING! I usually buy from Target where they are $14 each, so the price is better here. They also usually have a little of the red indicator already showing, but not these from Amazon. I cant say how many gallons Ive gotten but I would say a couple months pass before I change it. I never feel like, Boy I just changed this thing. I use it for all cooking, tea, washing vegetables and I drink lots of water everyday. Most of the reviews for the 3-stage complain about low water pressure and not lasting very long but I dont have that issue with these 2-stage. As ususal new does not mean better. Even though the 3-stage is cheaper I would suggest investing in the 2-stage as it will pay off in the end. I use this particular filter consistently and was thrilled to find the 2-pack filter at such a reasonable price. Works like they claim On: 2008-10-02Ive been using this style filter for four years now. It takes the odd taste out of our water, and when I lived in a house with a water softener, it removed that sodium taste. Simple to use, and lasts for quite a while. Standard Filter works as manufactured On: 2008-08-31I have been using a PUR facuet water purifier for about a year now. I recently upgraded my filter housing an am pleased with its performance. I purchased the filter from amazon as it was a 1/3 of the price at retail outlets. Perfect filter for the country. On: 2008-08-25We have a well that has some sediment problems. Thanks water filters are keepers On: 2006-02-18initially, i didnt think the filters were working as the use indicator didnt seem to function. I talked with PUR and they said give the filters more time to see if theyre good. They are and i am completely satisfied with my purchase from you.
